Daniel K. Heyler, 58, of 704 East Main Street, Westfield, PA

Daniel K. Heyler, 58, of 704 East Main Street, Westfield, PA, passed away, Thursday, April 15, 2010 at Arnot-Ogden Medical Center, Elmira, NY.

He was born February 7, 1952 in Wellsboro, PA, the son of Edward and Dorna Mudge Heyler.

He was a member of the Westfield United Methodist Church, the Bogar Run Hunting Club, Navoo, PA and a life-member of the NRA. Dan was an Eagle Scout and involved in scouting for many years. He was owner/operator of Heyler's Garage where he considered his customers as his "2nd Family." Dan also worked for Brugger & Crandall, Whitcomb Ford and Schultz Motors.

He survived by his wife of 31 years, Connie Collum Heyler; daughter, Gwen Heyler, Westfield, PA; son, Allen and fiancee, Amber Baker, Cowenesque, PA; sister, Nancy "David" Resseguie, Rochester, NY; brothers, Sam "Mary Ellen" Heyler, Bradford, PA, Dick Heyler, Gillett, PA, Marty "Joyce" Heyler, Westfield, PA; parents, Edward and Dorna Heyler, Westfield, PA; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to call at the Kenyon Funeral Home Inc., 222 West Main Street, Westfield, PA, Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Monday at 11:00 AM at the Westfield United Methodist Church. Pastor Deborah Watkins officiating. Burial in Champlin Cemetery, Westfield, PA.

Memorials may be made to the Westfield United Methodist Church or the Cowanesque Valley High School Daniel Heyler Memorial Scholarship Fund.
