Melva L. Swick, 71, of Bradford, formerly of Port Allegany

Bradford - Melva L. Swick, 71, of Bradford, formally of Port Allegany died Wednesday (April 28, 2010) in the Hamot Medical Center, Erie.

She was born Sep 24, 1938 in Smethport, a daughter of Glenn and Dorothy Kinney Causer.

Mrs. Swick was a loving homemaker and will be missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by

One daughter: Dorothy Cornelius of Port Allegany, PA

Two sons: Timothy Swick of Bradford, PA, Randy Swick of Smethport, PA

8 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

five sisters: Thelma Davis of Gifford, PA, Glena (Jerry) Larkin of Port Allegany, PA, Janet Swick of Bradford, PA, Carol Trainer of MN, Joan (Chuck) Sherwood of FL

One brother: Richard (Sue) Causer of KS

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Roger C. Swick, Jr. two daughters Tina Swick and Kathy Drabant three brothers and two sisters

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 30, 2010 from 10am to 11am in the Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes, Inc. 105 N Main St. Port Allegany at which time funeral and committal service will be held with the Rev. Randall Headley, pastor Port Allegany Methodist Church, officiating burial will be in the Fairmont Cemetery, Farmers Valley.
