Wow, I read the comment made by 12:00 and rolled my eyes and went to read other articles and then it hit me. Should marijuana be legal? Maybe, but if you take the mind set that 12:00 is using we would be legalizing a controlled substance so that drug dealers don't kill each other?! Yes, let's make life easier and safer for all our local drug dealers?! Because if marijuana was legal they wouldn't have to break the law?!

No, Im sorry I wasnt advocating legalizing marijuana. I was just posing a question. Im sure that this would have happened over another drug if not for weed just wondering how legalization would have affected this. Would it take away some crime. Im not sure of the severity of the drug problem around here because I dont do them. If weed is the worst drug around here then it would have solved this one.

If marijuana were legal it would certainly reduce crime.

People such as myself who enjoy a little herb now and again wouldn't have to deal with drug dealers to get it.

Thats kind of what I was getting at.

Let the drug dealers kill each other! That way the taxpayers don't have to fund their stay in jail. If they weren't dealing pot, they'd find something else to deal.
