Patricia A. Smith, 54, of, Smethport, formerly of Reading and West Chester, PA

Smethport - Patricia A. Smith, 54, of, Smethport, formerly of Reading and West Chester, PA died unexpectedly Friday (April 16, 2010) in the Bradford Regional Medical Center, Bradford.

She was born Oct 14, 1955 in West Chester, a daughter of Charles R. and June E. Bostelle Hanley.

Trish was a graduate of Henderson High School, West Chester, PA and attended West Chester State College, West Chester, PA receiving a bachelors degree in criminal justice.

Having lived out of the area for the last few years, she supported the Reading Pagans and Witches in Reading, PA as well as the McKean County SPCA, and the Animal Rescue Site.

She is survived by two daughters: Rebecca Ambuski of Cattaraugus, NY, and Sarah Smith of Smethport, PA; a grandson, Matthew Moore, and a granddaughter, Mia Ambuski, both of Cattaraugus, NY. Also surviving are one sister, Elizabeth (Robert) Smith of Downingtown , PA and one brother, Stephen (Toni) Hanley of Morgantown, PA. Trish also leaves behind Baby Girl and Little Guy Smith who will really miss their noms and scritches from their Momma.

At the family’s request, there will be no visitation.

A memorial service will be held at 1 PM Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at the Thomas home, located at 16636 Route 6 in Smethport, PA. For those that are willing, please dress for work, as to honor Trish, a work session at the McKean County SPCA will follow.

Memorials may be made to the McKean County SPCA, 80 Glenwood Ave., Bradford, PA 16701 or your local no kill shelter.
