NATIONAL COLLEGE ATHLETE HONOR SOCIETY INDUCTS 12

BRADFORD, Pa. – The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford inducted 12 students into Chi Alpha Sigma, the National College Athlete Honor Society.

To be considered for Chi Alpha Sigma, a student must earn a varsity letter in that academic year. The student must also earn at least a 3.4 overall grade point average.

Those inducted were Vogue A. Bernard, a human relations major from Shinglehouse, (cross country); Christine J. Bradshaw, a pre-pharmacy major from Randolph, N.Y., (golf); Andrew J. Buyea, a human relations major from Orchard Park, N.Y., (basketball); Whitney L. Cline, a health and physical education and sport and recreation management major from Bradford, (cross country and basketball); Molly J. Curtis, a health and physical education and sport and recreation management major from Springwater, N.Y., (basketball);

Elizabeth Y. Ditty, a biology major from Bradford, (swimming); Sarah B. Dwyer, a business education K-12 and business management major from Warren, (volleyball); Daniel P. Heisey, an accounting major from Rexville, N.Y., (basketball); Andrew J. Hwang, a business management major from Horsham (dance team); Jillian A. Kreitzer, an elementary education major from Horseheads, N.Y., (softball); Jacquelyn T. Podrasky, a sports medicine major from Medina, Ohio, (volleyball); and Sarah B. Rhinehart, a criminal justice major from Olean, N.Y., (soccer).

Advisors for the group are Betsy Matz, associate professor of business management, and Lori Mazza, director of athletics and recreational sports.
