Thomas G. WHITE, Sr., 70, of Wellsboro, PA, formerly of Harrison Valley, PA

Thomas G. WHITE, Sr., 70, of Wellsboro, PA, formerly of Harrison Valley, PA, died Monday, May 3, 2010 in the Rose View Manor, Williamsport, PA.

Born July 24, 1939, in Harrison Valley, he was the son of Howard and Onolee F. Kibbe White.

He was a co-owner and operator of WW Disposal for many years and was a member of Lewisville Lodge #556, F & AM in Ulysses.

Surviving are: five sons, Thomas G. (Cindy) White, II of Westfield, Timothy J. White of New Holland, PA, Todd L. White of Harrison Valley, Theodore J. White of Harrison Valley, PA, and Benjamin White of Wellsboro; two daughters, Tamela Rae (Raymond) Barrow of Downington, PA and Whitney White of Wellsboro; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother, W. Harold (Kathy) White of Virginia Beach, VA; three sisters, Geraldine Bassney of Tioga, PA, Ruth (Wilfred) Peters of Corning, NY, and Helen (Elwin) Van Etten of Harrison Valley; a sister-in-law, Barbara White of Harrison Valley; and nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Howard White, Jr.

Friends may call Thursday, May 6, 2010 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 PM at the Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses, PA, where Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM. The Rev. Edward Caster will officiate. A Masonic Service will be held 8:30 PM, Thursday in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lewisville Lodge #556, Ulysses, PA 16948.
