“Your Business and Marcellus Shale: Building Business Connections” Webinar Series

“Your Business and Marcellus Shale: Building Business Connections” Webinar Series

The Potter County Education Council Coudersport office will be hosting a series of six Marcellus Shale Webinars beginning in June.

The two slated for June are:
Working with Industry – Experience in the Southwest.
Although the businesses featured will primarily be from Southwestern PA, their stories will be of interest to business owners throughout the Marcellus shale area. There is a growing need for reliable providers of products and services to the Marcellus shale natural gas industry. Pennsylvania's small businesses have for years provided a diversity of products to the natural gas industry, and with the growth of the business it provides emerging entrepreneurs and existing business‐owners new opportunities. Business opportunities exist directly with the exploration and production companies as well as with contracting companies to the industry. This session, highlighting experienced natural gas industry representatives, will broaden the knowledge of the opportunities that exist in the market, how to make the connections with the industry, and specific requirements for doing business in this growing industry. The date for this webinar is June 2nd beginning at 8 am to 9:30 am. The cost is $10 and includes a continental breakfast. To register, visit our website at www.pottercountyedcouncil.org. For questions, call Janine Morley at 814.274.4877.

Wait, what? A webinar...but I have to go there? Doesn't make any sense.

If it's a webinar why can I not attend the webinar via the web from home...ummm like a webinar is supposed to work?

Am I missing something? because I would like to attend, but I cannot be physically present during those hours.

Penn State has offered these webinars at specific sites across the state. After 30 days have passed PSU will provide the sites with a web address that will be open to anyone from anywhere. So, if you are interested in any of the webinars call the Potter County Education Council at 274-4877 and we will gladly provide you with the open site when it is available.
Thank you for providing an opportunity for clarification of this type of webinar
