Roulette Man Jailed After Police Pursuit, Birthday Celebration

Police Apprehend Driver After Chase
Updated at 4:49 pm Sunday
At 11:30 pm on Saturday night, Austin Police reported they were in pursuit of a vehicle on Route 607 headed toward Keating Summit.

Several area police agencies responded to assist Austin Police who were in pursuit of a 2003 Ford pickup truck driven by Kyle Bonneau of Roulette, southbound on
Route 155 toward Emporium.

The chase continued down Route 120 south of Emporium toward Sinnemahoning. At 11:50 PM, police reported the driver was in custody.

An Emporium ambulance, placed on standby for a possible crash, was told to stand down.

Unofficial reports have reached us that the incident st
arted earlier Saturday night when the Roulette man, celebrating his 21st birthday, became angry when he was shut off, and trashed the Friendly Inn bar room.

While troopers were investigating the damage at the Roulette incident, he apparently went over the hill to Austin, where it's reported he continued to celebrate his birthday at two bars there before driving on the sidewalk, smashing a pop machine and windows at the game room, and leading police from 3 counties on the chase.

Court records indicate that Austin Police Chief Kyle Day filed charges against Kyle T. Bonneau, 21, of Roulette in District Judge Barbara Easton's courtroom at 5:00 AM Sunday morning.

Bonneau was arraigned and charged
with FLEEING OR ATTEMPT TO ELUDE A POLICE OFFICER (F3); DUI; AGG ASSAULT (F2); RECKLESSLY ENDANGERING ANOTHER PERSON (M2); CRIMINAL MISCHIEF DAMAGE PROPERTY (F3); RECKLESS DRIVING (S); CARELESS DRIVING (S); FAILURE TO STOP AT STOP SIGN (S); DUTIES AT STOP SIGN (S); and DISREGARD TRAFFIC LANE (S).

Bonneau was unable to post $30,000. Straight Bail and was remanded to the Potter County Jail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 17, 2010 in District Court 55-4-01.

Austin Police were assisted by Port Allegany Police, Emporium Police, State Police from Emporium and Coudersport, and possibly others.

Route 120 runs east and west not north and south. so where did they finally stop him?

The guy was also shut off at The Cock-eyed Cricket & Galeotti's, then comenced to hit a pop machine on the sidewalk in front of The Game Room, before his escape from Austin. There's a 21st birthday he won't be forgetting any time soon !!

This didn't mention anything about the destruction he caused on Main St Austin at the game room.. Drove up on the sidewalk, busted up the pop machine and Harry's windows.. This will probably be in the upcoming reports ..

Happy birthday.
Now you're old enough to drink. Maybe they will have some cake ready at the potter county hotel.

Yeah! Get the story right! Because complete accuracy is the most important thing when relating this retarded train wreck's story of adventure! hahaha

Yea, you're right he only got shut off at the bar in Roulette. Serving him was NOT an option when he made it to The bars in Austin.

From what i understand The Cricket totally rufused him a drink period!!!! I don't know if he was served at Galeotti's or not!!! But from the sounds of things he had way to much in his own town to drink!!! Thank God nobody was hurt at Long's gameroom!!!!

Anonymous said...

Gee, he was only shut off in one bar. Getting the story straight may be the least of the issues with this young man. What are you thinking? Crimes were committed, a young man is facing charges for those crimes. The situation was dangerous at best for the police, the public and the perpetrator. And your comment is......he was only shut off in one bar, get the story straight......

yea well i heard from a friend of a friend that's friends with his aunt's friend's mom and she said he mowed down 3 old ladies in shinglhouse about 10 minutes before he ran that pop machine over in Austin, and another friend of a friend told me he drank about 2 cases and a bottle of jack before he got shut off which if you ask me is bs because i can down atleast 5 cases and 2 bottles before i'm even legal.

so maybe you should get your facts straight because i also heard he's the one responsible for the gulf oil spill and this rotten economy and i believe it.

Happy Birthday!!

He must have some friends defending him in these posts. I was at the Cricket & he & his companion came staggering in & was escorted out !! Rumor also has it from patrons at Galeotti's he was shut off ! He was on a total tear from what all he did do. He needs to be held responsible. He is lucky there weren't a gang of kids standing in front of the Game Room as there usually is.Could have killed someone.

Many people would love to see the "game room" shut down but there has to be a better way to accomplish that! How'd he miss the 10 or 15 young "adults" hanging out front?

20 comments about a drunk criminal.

zero comments below about how to improvr your situation or brainstorm about the gas play.

And you wonder why things are "tough"

You Become What You Think About Most Of The Time

“You become what you think about most of the time. And the most important part of each day is what you think about at the beginning of that day.”

When you read the biographies and autobiographies of successful men and women you’ll find that almost every one of them began their upward trajectory to success when they began getting up early in the morning and spending time with themselves. You need to feed your mind with positive ideas.

Here are four things that will help you to do just that.

Number one -review your plans for accomplishing your goals and change your plans if necessary.

Number two - think of better ways to accomplish your goals. As an exercise, assume that the way you’re going about it is totally wrong and imagine going about it totally
differently. What would you do different from what you’re doing right now?

Number three - reflect on the valuable lessons that you have learned and are learning as you move toward your goals.

Number four - calmly visualize your goal as a reality. Close your eyes, relax, smile, and see your goal as though it were already a reality.

Your life will start to take off at such a speed that you’ll have to put on your seatbelt. Remember, the starting point for achieving financial success is the development of
an attitude of unshakable confidence in yourself and in your ability to reach your goals.

No one starts out with this kind of an attitude, but you can develop it using the law of accumulation. Everything counts. No efforts are ever lost. Every extraordinary
accomplishment is the result of thousands of ordinary accomplishments that no one recognizes or appreciates.

The greatest challenge of all is for you to concentrate your thinking single-mindedly on your goal, and by the law of attraction you will. You must inevitably draw into your
life the people, circumstances and opportunities you need to achieve your goals.

Once you’ve mastered yourself and your thinking, you will become a living magnet for ideas and opportunities to become wealthy. It’s worked for me and for every successful
person I know. It will work for you if you’ll begin today, now, this very minute, to think and talk about your dreams and goals as though they were already a reality. When you
change your thinking, you will change your life.

You will put yourself firmly on the road to financial independence. Here are two things you can do every single day to keep your mind focused on your financial goals:

First, get up every morning a little bit earlier and plan your day in advance. Take some time to think about your goals and how you can best achieve them. This sets the tone for the whole day.

Second, reflect on the valuable lessons you are learning each day as you work toward your goals. Be prepared to correct your course and adjust your actions. Be absolutely convinced that you are moving rapidly toward your goals, no matter what happens temporarily on the outside. Just hang in there!

atleast the streets of Roulette will be a little bit safer for a bit with his crazy driving not an issue for the time being!!

Sad to think of it this way, but that was the first thing that came to my mind when I read it was him.

if anyone looked at the voting for the task force, alcohol was the lowest and this story right here ought to prove that alcohol is just as bad as the others on the list.

Again, too bad his "companion" didn't just make him go home. I'm glad he didn't hurt anyone, but he caused a lot of destruction that us patrons will have to pay for and probably never see any money to replace it.
P.S. Don't see what was so bad about my last post Jim that you couldn't post it, all it was was the truth??

Some of you people that spew stuff on here really need a reality check. I can't believe how alot of you get off on others grief or misery. Bet most of you were in bed by 9pm on your 21st birthday.(CROCK) Yeah, the kid messed up & things could of been alot worse. He most likely learned a lesson from this that he'll pay for in more ways then one. I'm glad he's ok & no one was physically hurt. Kicking people while there down is just sad!

Anonymous said...

you belong in jail , like none of u ever did anything wrong at 21 or any age ! So he messed up you all are fine just bored and have nothing better to do than start rumors and run your mouths about something you read , go find somthing better to do .... you know like pray for the little boy who got kicked in the head be the horse !!!!

All these comments "adding" to the story are ridiculous. He didn't "mow down 3 ladies".

Kyle is a good guy when he's not drunk, and it's unfortunate he allowed himself to get like that.

p.s. that sounds like my class :)
