Gov. Rendell Says He's Ready To Go

Gov. Ed Rendell says he's ready to leave office

IVEY DEJESUS, The Patriot-News

Gov. Ed Rendell this morning told The Patriot-News that in his three decades in public office he has always looked with dread toward the end of his career. That has changed — particularly given the unsubstantiated media frenzy this week spawned by rumors that he is having an affair with a staffer.

It’s mind-boggling to me that I’m looking forward to Jan. 18th, but I’m ready to go.” Rendell, a Democrat who was elected in 2002, will end his second term in office in January.

This week, amid the intense negotiations and a looming deadline to ratify a state budget, the governor had to quell rumors that he is having an affair with Kirstin Snow, 40, director of Commonwealth Media Services. More...

You can't leave office soon enough there big boy!!!!!

Maybe we won't have to see you on Fox news anymore either, you are a embarrassment!!!

Here's an idea, run a poll in PA on YOUR approval rating, bet your numbers are as low as the president you are SO proud to jump into bed with, if not lower!!!!!

It is time to leave ........go, get out, just leave; The commonwealth can do without this dude!

Is he leaving because there's a sex scandal brewing? What's up with all these politicians anymore? They represent us then whore around for years till caught, then apologize & resign. But, I want to know, how much of my tax dollars paid for these affairs?

Rendell is a backdoor dealer and blow smoke up you butt liar. He was one as Philadelphia's mayor and as governor.

See ya Ed.

Although I don't believe he had an affair. If he did she should be locked up or sent to the nearest eye center for a checkup.

NO, His final term is ending, he can not run again, not that he would be voted in again anyway...unless Acorn helped him out like they did the current president!

Oh Mister Rendell finally got accused,he should have been pushed out of office back when he started in 2002. How long has this man gotten away with just having female business deals. Oh everyone is suppose to feel sorry for him. Goodbye and good riddance.

He is going nowhere people.

He is just moving up. Look for him to be a presidential or vp candidate.

You really have to know him from his days as the DA in Phila.

Pennsylvania is Philadelphia and Pittsburgh with Alabama in between

A life time politician is just as bad as a life time welfare recipient if you ask me! They both live off of our hard earned taxes!

Go start up a business in this great state, meet a payroll for the first time from revenue YOU generate from YOUR investment, I dare you!!!
