Harrisburg homeless camp given a week's extension to leave South Front Street property
T.W. BURGER, The Patriot-NewsThe little tent city in the woods along South Front Street in Harrisburg is even quieter than usual now, a week after city police told the residents that they had a week to vacate the spot.
About half of the 25 or 30 people who lived at the camp last week are already gone from the 10-acre tract near the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s Riverfront Office Center.
Those remaining apparently have a little more time to move. The deadline has been extended to July 7, according to representatives for the property’s owner. More...
