Man Accused Of Double Homicide Former Coudersport Resident

Accused Murderer Lived In Coudersport
According to internet searches, Steven Patrick Rebert, 45, of Emporium, PA, accused in the double homicide of a couple in their Brockway, PA home in April, was a former resident of Coudersport.

Court records indicate that Rebert was charged by the PA Game Commission for a violation on 12-2-2002 and he pled guilty to a Theft Of Services charge on 2-19-2003 for an incident in Coudersport Boro. Both of these charges were through Annette Easton's Courtroom and Rebert was listed as having a Coudersport address.

He was fined on 10-25-2007 in Easton's court for failure to change his address. The summons listed his address as Emporium at that time.

State Police at the press conference stated that the investigation is ongoing and that Rebert is a suspect in unsolved murders in Genesee and Orleans Counties in New York. He was born and raised in New York and was there when police made the arrest. Rebert was arraigned Friday night before District Magistrate David Inzana in Reynoldsville.

A Finger Lakes TV News Filed this Report profiling the families in the NY unsolved homicides.

Online sources list former addresses for Rebert as Emporium, Coudersport, Albion, NY, Wassaic, NY, Columbus, GA, Clearwater, FL, and Dunedin, FL.

Steve lived in Coudersport and worked as a contractor (Fiber Optic cable installer) for Adelphia and other companies in the area. He used to rent the White farm on Dry Run road.

Well, assuming that he committed this crime, I would like to see something hanging from a pole and it ain't fiber for Adelphia or Zito or whoever was supporting this scum sucking dildine and piece of crap who would take the life of a popular couple.

I would like to install some wire on this dill dine and then pull the switch.

I knew the guy personally. Kind of a shocker, never would have imagined him being a suspected serial killer.

I am wondering if anyone can answer a question as to why this man was in Brockway? What brought him to our town? Did he ever reside in Brockway? Or was he friends with or connected to someone who did? This is my big question. What brought him here?

What brings all the nuts to the Potter County seat?

What do "HANDOUTS" have to do with this situation?

Don't people know how to Google?

1:37. It's pretty common knowledge in the blogs around Dubois/Punxy/Brockway what motivated him to be in that area? There was even a story in one of the local rags on his motivation. He was stalking an employee of the flower shop that the murdered couple owned. The woman that was being stalked has ties to Potter County according to the paper.

You've got that right - HOME OF THE HAND-OUTS! And they're not even MANDATED!

Steve was a contractor under Adelphia installing fiber optic cable all over the area. After Adelphia couldn't pay him, he left the area looking for work. I blame Rigas.
