Delong Motorsports Season Update

Delong Motorsports
Season Update

by Brandon Grabbitt

The last season update was back on July 2nd when Nate picked up his very first win of the season at BlackRock Speedway.

Since then, Delong Motorsports is still hunting for another victory. Nate has battle through the dirt in hopes of trying to pick up win #2, but car troubles the past two weeks at Woodhull while battling for the lead, left him watching the end of the race in the pits.

Nate has dropped back to 6th in points and is still seeking his first win at Woodhull in 2010. Because of the long haul to BlackRock on Friday nights and Woodhull racing on Saturdays, Nate has decided to focus more primarily on running at Woodhull and hopes to return to BlackRock soon.

Older Brother Eric has blindsided competiton in the Sportsman class at Woodhull with numerous top 5 finishes in just the past 2 months, putting himself 12th in points and just a few points behind the 10th and 11th places.

Both brother's are continuing to make sure that they are elite contenders in the Sportsman class and continue to seek a victory at the Woodhull Raceway in 2010. Eric and Nate both have had good and bad nights in the past couple weeks, but by the way they have been diving lately, you can see why a well deserved victory is upon Delong Motorsports.

You can check both brothers out every Saturday night at the Woodhull Raceway in Woodhull, NY, racing starting at 6:30.

Eric, you need to have the black flamingo riding shot gun with you. For sure a win will come with the luck of him!
