Jani A. Warnick, 55, of Sweitzer Drive, Duke Center, PA

DUKE CENTER, PA - Jani A. Warnick, 55, of Sweitzer Drive, died Thursday (Aug. 5, 2010) in the Osceola Regional Hospital in Kissimmee, FL while on vacation surrounded by her family following a long illness.

Born April 19, 1955, in Blossburg, PA, she was a daughter of James and Peggy Washburn Wood.
Mrs. Warnick was a 1974 graduate of Shinglehouse High School and has resided in the Eldred area upon graduation. She had been employed by Zippo Manufacturing in Bradford for 21 years before retiring due to illness.

She was a member of the Eldred Borough Fire Department Auxiliary. She enjoyed being with her family, camping and being outdoors.

Surviving are her mother of Shinglehouse; one son, Chad Warnick of Duke Center; one daughter, Christon (Keith) Young of Cyclone, PA; three grandchildren, Bryan, Alyssa and Camryn Young; two brothers, Danny (Angel) Wood of Shinglehouse and Robert (Larry Harper) Wood of Fort Worth, TX; and one sister, Joni Canaan of Duke Center.

She is also survived by her extended family, Fay Mease of Knoxville, PA; two brothers, Chuck (Joann) Wright of Knoxville and Terry (Cindy) Wright of Galeton; and one sister, Kelly (Dave) Earhard of Ulysses.

Friends and family are invited to attend a viewing and visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Frame Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held on a date to be announced.

The family requests memorials be made to the Home Health Care and Hospice of Bradford.

I am so sorry to hear this I graduated with Jani and Joni.And have lost track of them. To the family I am so sorry for their loss.
