A State Police helicopter spent most of the day guiding ground crews to marijuana patches in the Richburg (Town of Wirt) and Almond areas. Scanner listeners were able to listen to the operation live from the helicopter's 2 way radio.

How many thousands of dollars were spent on this operation? Can't NY State come up with a more productive way to invest tax payer dollars than to waste hundreds of precious man hours, all that fuel and police resources all for a plant that grows naturally across the entire north American continent?
What a waste of precious resources.
Good Job Police force, you are doing well on cracking down on the drug dealers and the drug users!

boy, i'll sleep better knowing those plants aren't in the woods.... waiting to kill our children.
*rolls eyes*
Good job NYS police, glad you are cracking down on these druggies!
I love it how the stoners out there get all upset about the "misuse" of public funds for getting rid of marijuana. Its like you can hear their little hearts breaking over the computer. Im glad they got rid of this stuff. It may grow naturally but these obviously werent cases of natural plants. And last I checked it was ILLEGAL to grow them. Thanks guys
Yup 9:36!! I agree!!! *tear*
