Rev. Charles A. "Chuck" Renshaw, 80, of 59 Euclid Ave. Bradford, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Thursday, August 12th, 2010 at The Bradford Regional Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family.

Born March 22, 1930, in Erie, he was a son of the late Charles and Catharine (Rohl) Renshaw.

On March 9, 1951 he married Rosanne (Roney) Renshaw who survives.

Rev. Renshaw was a 1948 graduate of Lawrence Park High School, in Erie. He enlisted in the United States Navy on September 21, 1948, and served during the Korean War, and was honorably discharged on September 19, 1952. He had worked as a barber for eleven years in Lake City, PA. After receiving a call to a Christian Life, he graduated from the United Methodist course of study from Boston University. He served 30 years as a United Methodist Pastor with his last sixteen years of service to the Duke Center United Methodist Church.

In addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter, Catherine R. (Pete) Hardy of Bradford, two sons Kenneth C. Renshaw, and Daniel J. Renshaw both of Bradford, two sisters, Elizabeth Cadwallader of Latham, NY and Jeannette (the late Robert) Will of Erie, three grandchildren: Jeff (Nicole) Hardy, Reed J. Renshaw, and Vicki (Mark) Miller, five great grandchildren: Kenny Miller, Breanne Miller, Alyssa Hardy, Alexis Hardy, and Ty Hardy all of Bradford, a sister in law Norma Renshaw of Erie, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Reed Renshaw.

At the request of the family there will be no visitation. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangement are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. Memorial contributions if desired may be made to the Duke Center United Methodist Church, or a charity of the donors choice.
