Ann B. BAUMGARNER, 76, of Ulysses, PA

Ann B. BAUMGARNER, 76, of Ulysses, PA, died Wednesday, September 8, 2010 in Cindy’s Personal Care Home, Westfield, PA.

Born June 13, 1934, in Walnut Cove, NC, she was the daughter of Henry C. and Annie L. Daugherty Burnette.

A 1952 graduate of Black Mountain High School in Black Mountain , NC, she completed a business course at Blantons Business College in Asheville, NC.

On April 7, 1954, in Toccoa, GA, she married Lowell Baumgarner, who survives.

She was employed by the Northern Potter School District in the cafeteria for 15 years. She was a member of the Ulysses First Baptist Church, serving as Sunday school teacher, Sunday school treasurer, church treasurer, ABW, and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star #95 in Ulysses.

Surviving besides her husband, Lowell, are: two sons, Steve L. Baumgarner of Sabinsville, PA and Michael L. Baumgarner of Ulysses; two daughters, Karen A. (Thomas) Breckley of McKean, PA and Nancy J. (Scott) Bice of Ulysses; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; friends and caregivers, Cindy and George Ritchey and Carol and Mark Gardner.

Friends may call Friday, September 10, 2010 from 7:00 – 9:00 PM at the Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses, PA. An Eastern Star service will be held 8:30 PM Friday in the funeral home.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday in the Ulysses First Baptist Church. The Rev. Jason K. Reed will officiate. Burial will be in Ulysses Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ulysses Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 153, Ulysses, PA 16948 or the Ulysses Library, P.O. Box 316, Ulysses, PA 16948.
