C&N Donates $2,500 To Bradford County 4-H

WELLSBORO, PA – Citizens & Northern Bank has contributed $2,500 to the Bradford County 4-H Endowment Fund. Tia S. Steinfelt, Bradford County 4-H educator, said the funds will be used to provide scholarships for deserving youths, along with other needs as determined by the 4-H Advisory Board.

Steinfelt said 4-H is very grateful for the bank’s support over the years, especially its commitment to the annual 4-H calf and heifer and livestock sales. The Bradford County 4-H enables local youths, ages eight to 18, to have fun, meet new people, learn new life skills, build self-confidence, learn responsibility, and set and achieve goals. 4-H is the youth development education program administered through Penn State Cooperative Extension offices in all 67 Pennsylvania counties. As a stockholder in C&N, I am disappointed in this giving. The stock price hasn't recovered since 2002, and I wish the money had been spent elsewhere.
