No Injuries In Vehicle Crash On Rt. 46 In Farmers Valley

MVA In Farmers Valley
At 12:50 pm on Saturday, Smethport Dept. 2 and Priority Care Ambulance were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident near the Valley Inn on Route 46 in Farmers Valley.

Rebekah J. Potter, 28, of Roulette, PA, was driving a 1991 Ford Tempo south on Route 46. As she attempted to round a left hand curve, the vehicle left the west side of the roadway. When Potter attempted to steer back onto the road, she overcompensated and lost control of the vehicle. It left the west side of the road and impacted a ditch. Her vehicle went up the ditch for a short distance before impacting a tree, where the vehicle came to rest.

Potter was wearing a seat belt and was not injured in the crash. Troopers said she will be charged with CARELESS DRIVING.
