Another Teen Suicide In Area

Teen Suicide in Elk County

This region is not immune to teen suicide.

I agree...SOMETHING HAS to be done...we are losing our youth right and left. I have a 15 year old son myself.....his moods go up and down....i have him in therapy now....my heart is just breaking for the parents of these kids.....I don't know what i'd do if something happened to my son, but to think these kids are not seeing any light at the end of the tunnel and choose this...it just makes me heartsick. To the parents of this young man. May God keep him in His loving arms and heal your hearts....i wish there was something i could do to help you........this is becoming an epidemic...

Teens aren't really into GOD and PRAYERS! Maybe if you (as parents) would quit cramming it down their throats they wouldn't be so disguntled.

Maybe they are so off because we keep telling them it's not natural to learn about your sexuality, it's not normal for them to want to party and have fun, it's not proper for them to be energetic and antsy in class...

we put them in therapy, we put them on the most terrible drugs to make them 'normal'
(oh sorry, not terrible drugs... the GOOD DRUGS. not any of that pot that makes you crazy and ruins your life.
The GOOD DRUGS that must be healthy or the pharmacutical companies wouldn't be rolling in TRILLIONS of our $$s.)

We treat them like they aren't normal.
Our police arrest them and give them records for doing NORMAL rebellious and harmless activities.

We shove things our beliefs down their throats and expect them to be theirs too...
We give them 'zero tolerance' rules and wonder why they can't think for themselves...

I was a troubled youth. Looking back on it my #1 troubles were my insane controlling parents and my principal who seemed to be right out of the SS.
Once i learned to hide who I was and what I did from the figures of authority, I turned out just fine.

The children are alright.
We (adults, schools, authority) are the ones that need to be put under the microscope.
