Eunice J. Nichols, 72, of Coudersport, PA

Eunice J. Nichols, 72, of Coudersport, PA died Monday, October 25, 2010 at Hamot Medical Center in Erie, PA.

Born on June 9, 1938 in Coudersport, she was the daughter of Ross Isaac and Mary Elizabeth Wayman Treat. In 1960 in Galeton, PA she married Charles H. Nichols, who died on August 31, 2010.

Mrs. Nichols was a graduate of Coudersport High School. She had been employed with Kane Magnetics in Galeton.

Surviving are two daughters, Cindy (Max) Gaberseck of Coudersport, Joyce Nichols of Los Angeles, CA, a son, Charles Anthony “Tony” Nichols of Coudersport, two granddaughters, Amber Gaberseck of Parker, PA and Holly Gaberseck of Coudersport, two sisters, Bertha (Alvoid) Tinder of Ulysses, PA and Mary (Willie) Hall of Hinsdale, NY, one brother, Charles Treat of Coudersport, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two brothers, William Treat and Basil Treat.

Friends may call from 6-8pm Friday, October 29, 2010 at the Fickinger Funeral Home, Coudersport, where funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Saturday with the Reverend Scott Ogden officiating. Burial will be in Sweden Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
