Fourth Annual Trunk or Treat Slated For Sunday

For the fourth year in a row, trick or treaters will parade through the Grace Lutheran parking lot to participate in "Trunk or Treat". The event will be held Sunday from 6:00-7:30PM, during trick or treating hours.

Volunteers will decorate the trunks of their cars along the parking lot, and pass out candy to trick or treaters as they make their way through the neighborhood. Inside the gym at the Community Life Center will be carnival games for the children as well.

Event organizers estimated that an approximate 2200 people walked through the event last year, with even more expected this year.

"The kids love it, the parents love it, and it really helps provide a safe, and family friendly way for the community to come together," says Josh Hatcher of Open Arms Community Church.

If individuals or organizations want to decorate a trunk, or donate candy for the event, they should contact the Community Life Center at Grace Lutheran Church at 814-362-1236

The event is sponsored by Grace Lutheran Church and Open Arms Community Church.

Nice work Josh.
Our kids are a little old for this now except the BIG kid (me).
Give out dildines with the candy corn and I'll be there if Peggy will let me get off my diet for one day!
