Loud Argument Brings Disorderly Conduct Charges

Four Roulette residents will be charged by State Police with Disorderly Conduct after a loud verbal argument Thursday at 4:00 PM outside their residence at 104 Main Street in the village.

Jessie H. Vannatter, Sr., 32, Elizabeth A. Vannatter, 28, Perry A. Moore, 26, and Clair G. Moore, Jr, 55 will be charged with summary Disorderly Conduct as the disturbance alarmed neighbors who called police.

They will answer the charges in District Court 55-4-01 in Shinglehouse.

I don't mean to be rude but whoever puts this in the newspaper or on here has no right to do so these things are a private matter not a public matter, whoever puts it up on here should not be legally aloud to.

When people do things that require the police to be called and the police file charges, it is no longer a private matter, and police release the information to the news media for publication. Your names are also listed on official court documents on line that are deemed public information. Newspapers only pass on the news, they don't make the news or make it up. If you have a problem with the system, you should contact your legislators to change the laws.

why are police allowed to even make things like this public, a charge being filed is not something the entire county has a right to know about, its a bit unfair to the person being charged especially if the charge ends up being false
