Showstoppers 4-H Club Elects Officers

On Monday, October 4, 2010, the Potter County Showstoppers 4-H Club met at the Coudersport Fire Hall for their monthly meeting.

These are the new officers that were elected:

President: Allyson Elliott
Vice-President: Jenna Gabreski
Secretary: Heather Supplee
Treasurer: Rachel Eller
News Reporter: Madison Smith
Scrapbook: Summer Lauber
Activity Coordinator: Bryan Supplee

Allyson and Jenna were re-elected to their positions, and Madison was elected as the News Reporter (she was the Scrapbook Officer last year).

Group Leaders continue to be Rose Hershey and Sheila Gabreski.

On Saturday, October 9, 2010, The 4H County-Wide Fall Harvest Awards Ceremony was held at the Coudersport Bowling Alley.

Ryan Eckert won the door prize, a 4-H "Snuggi" blanket.
The following 4-H Showstoppers members received awards:
Green Merit Award: Heather Supplee
Spirit Award: Garrett Lauber
Best Scrapbook: Madison Smith

The following Showstopper members were recognized:
Rachel Eller was recognized for her participation in the Farm Safety Quiz Bowl, the State Horse Show, as a camp counselor, and for her PA Farm Show 4H booth.
Jenna Gabreski was recognized for participation in the Farm Safety Quiz Bowl and the State Horse Show.

Also recognized were: Farm Safety quiz bowl- Bryan Supplee and Heather Supplee
State Horse show- Hailey Brown and Megan Siska

Our Friends of 4H are Andy Dubots for the Coudersport Fire Hall, Julie Thompson for administrating and keeping up to date our Facebook site, and Cathy and Merv Bowers for supporting our club.
