Whoopee. They stock a bunch of animals and of course they reproduce and run around in the woods. Look it up. They came from out west a few decades ago and some dildines get all ga-ga about this artificial "nature" experience sort of like stocking pheasants or big lunker breeder trout from the raceways.

You got that right. Plus they have this wild elk hunt which makes a bunch of money for the PGC. In some cases but not all it's like going fishing in your bathtub. Guides who make a bunch of money scout out where the big bull elk hang out and pretty much walk the license holder out to the spot. They kill the half-tame animal, get their picture taken and that's that. Another day in the "Pennsylvania Wilds."

So the rule is that you are not supposed to swerve to miss a deer in the road, but what do you do for an elk? I would hate to collide with one of those bruisers. Awesome video!!!!

You are half right on the restocking of the elk,but they were native to Pa. The last Pa elk was killed off I believe in the early 20's, then they brought in elk, which is part of the herd now, from out west.

I think the Elk are awesome and majestic creature and could give a rats behind what a couple Idiots have to say on a blog.

Amazing video.

The elk were reintroduced in 1913 as were white tail deer around the same time, maybe a little later. They were from Michigan.

Wild turkeys were also reintroduced.

So get over it already.
