Annual Christmas House Tour Coming Soon In Galeton

HOLLY TRAIL HOUSE TOUR TICKETS ON SALE

The annual Holly Trail Christmas House Tour sponsored by the Galeton chapter of Business and Professional Women will be held on Sunday, December 12 from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm.

Several homes within the Galeton area are on this year’s tour and will be beautifully decorated for the holiday season.

The Galeton Public Library has been added this year and will also be the place to purchase tickets on the day of the tour and to have a bit of light holiday refreshment. Tickets for the tour as well as raffle tickets are now on sale. Raffle tickets are $5.00 each or 5 for $20.00.

Prizes include a $100.00 gift card from the soon to be open Nittany Minit Mart, $50 gift certificate from Hearts Desire, a Large Christmas Wreath, $30 gift certificate from Pine Creek Inn, $20 gift certificate from Lakeview Cinema, $20 gift certificate from Starlight Video, and a medium Christmas Wreath.

The raffle prizes will be awarded at the conclusion of the tour and winners need not be present win. Raffle tickets are available now at Richar Insurance and Finance, Delores Potter Beauty Salon, Hearts Desire, the Brick House Deli, from BPW members or by calling Barbara Welfling at (814) 435-6616.

Holly Trail House Tour tickets are available at Hearts Desire, Richar Insurance and Finance, Galeton Drug, from any BPW member, or by calling Barbara Welfling at (814) 435-6616. Advance ticket price is $8.00 and $10.00 on the day of the event. You may also purchase tickets on tour day at Hearts Desire which opens at noon.

Proceeds from this event go into the Elinor A. Martin Education Fund which provides scholarship money to Galeton senior girls who are continuing their education – as well as low-interest education loans and several on- going community projects such as the Summer Children’s Reading program at the Galeton Public Library.

The tour will be held rain, snow or shine! Business and Professional Women membership is open to any area women – working or non-working. Meetings are held the 4th Monday of the month and anyone may attend a meeting as a guest. The Galeton local is involved in many community projects and supports the national lobbying efforts of BPW/PA and BPW’s National Foundation. These organizations are dedicated to improving work and life issues for women everywhere – work environment, health environment and home environment.
