A Butler man was injured in a crash 4.3 miles west of Castle Garden Road in Gibson Township on Tuesday at 1:00 am.
Robert A. Biedenbach, Jr, 50, of Butler, PA, was driving a 1998 Oldsmobile 88 west on Route 555 when two deer jumped onto his path, causing him to travel off the right side of the roadway. His car entered a drainage ditch along the roadway and traveled 240 feet before striking an embankment on the opposite side of the ditch.
The impact with the rock face embankment caused his car to roll over across the roadway before coming to rest right side up along the east berm of the roadway.
Biedenbach, Jr. sustained unknown head/back injuries. He was transported to Elk Regional Medical Center by Emporium Ambulance. He was wearing a seatbelt.
He will be charged with Driving While Operating Privilege is Suspended or Revoked.

I bet the insurance companies are going to be pissed at this one... next year the game commission will want hunters to shoot every deer that is seen.
Ummmmm...
pardon my retardedness... But I see a F%&K ton of deer standing by the road or in the road. I have not, however, seen very many if any deer at all in the woods. Trust me I've looked. So deer don't get cited for "not crossing within a designated cross-walk", or "endangering the well-fare of a motorist", or "not yielding to a traffic device". Sounds alot like PSP. They get into accidents and 99.9% of the time never get cited.
And all that to say, "Pesky deer, stay off our roadways."
