Edith M. Middlebrough, 89, of Bradford, PA

Edith M. Middlebrough, 89, of Bradford, passed away on November 18, 2010 at the Bradford Manor.

She was born in Johnsonburg, PA, on February 14, 1921 to the late Vern and Anna (Kriegisch) Yonker.

She moved to Bradford as a child and attended the Bradford Area Schools and was a member of the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.

On December 14, 1940 she married Raymond Middlebrough, who preceded her in death on January 25, 1980.

She is survived by two daughters, Beverly Spadafore and Marcia Green, one son, Stephen (Janette) Middlebrough, all of Bradford, one daughter-in-law, Kimberly Middlebrough, Lewis Run, nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, one step great granddaughter, one brother, James Yonker, Morris, AL, two sisters, Gloria Swanson, Bowie, MD and Loretta (Anthony) Marzucco, DuBois, one sister-in-law, Ruth Myers, Rixford, and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband she was also preceded in death by one son, Joseph Middlebrough on March 18, 2007, three brothers and three sisters.

Family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 PM at the St. Bernard Catholic Church on Saturday, November 27, 2010, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial with the Rev. Leo Gallina as celebrant.

Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorial contributions in her memory be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Mascho Funeral Home, Inc.
