Children's Ministry update:

I’m sure you’ve noticed that there have been some changes going
on to our children’s ministry. These changes are not just structural.

We are implementing a new program to develop a bigger picture
to our children’s view of faith.

The program is designed to teach the children all the facets of living out their
faith: Worshiping with others, learning in a large group setting, engaging in discussion of faith and accountability in an age based small group setting, using time and talents serving in ministry, and growth in their knowledge and fluency in scripture.

The program ties into the topics of discussion in the adult service so that the whole family is going over the same subject. The goal is that the family will be able to have meaningful discussion on what they are learning and that parents will have the opportunity to reinforce the biblical principles their child is learning.

The Children’s Worship Service consists of: Corporate Worship Together (Singing
Songs), Sword Drills (designed to help children become familiar with how to use the Bible and where to find specific passages of scripture), Lesson (tied into adult service topics), Small Groups (designed to get them to engage in discussions of faith and accountability for application of lessons), Snack, Wrap Up of lesson (A highlight of the main points and practical application of the lesson).

To teach our children the importance of using their talents to serve the Lord our
program includes a rotation of kids helping: Kids lead worship, Kids run sound,
kids lead sword drills, help with serving snack, Older kids that are in more than one service help teach and assist the younger.

We want to thank you for your patience and support as we make all these changes
and continue to refine our Children’s Ministry for Maximum Impact upon these children’s lives.

God bless you!

Hey Josh and Pastor Mike - just a helpful suggestion to list a town and contact information on your releases. Goes back to the old newspaper days I guess. Ha ha.
Blessings (and don't forget dildines!)
