"What's a non-controlled substance?"

Prescriptions obtained without a prescription.

punishment is not long enough! Not long enough to keep them from doing it again when they get out!

Anonymous said...

Oh don't worry, they will do it again and if you are wondering why, look at the sentences!

I agree sentence is too short. You get a longer sentence for stealing or
fighting. If they put these guys in jail for a longer time then the police will not have anything to make them look good when they peddle there dope again. So they can bust them...
I think the police deserves a lollypop for this one.

The police didnt sentence them. durrr!!!

Take away their government paychecks for 3-12months instead of putting them in jail. Then at least we would be saving the taxpayer some money.

what is it he sold ? does anybody really know ..."non-controlled substance" ..... what really is that .."we" all better know what that is or we may all have it on us and be joining him .. the laws are changing everyday and pretty soon you wont be drinking pepsi in public due to the caffine..

People wouldn't go to jail for selling drugs if their weren't people out there buying them. People in our communities are what give drug dealers their ability to make money. It is not just bad people their are all kinds of people that do all kinds of drugs.

why don't people focus more on the drunk drivers that kill people everyday. Why not make alcohol illegal. How is it in America more people die from alcohol related incidences then any drug controlled or non-controlled.

Thanks for all of your kind comments. My father just so happens to be a good man. The only drug that has caused so many problems for him is alcohol. For all you people that have so much to say about them. He doesn't get a government check and he was sentenced longer then a child preditor.

Unfortunately, society will always turn to illicit drugs & prescription drugs to medicate life's issues, troubles, bad childhoods, & poor economical times away. This is not a new concept people...look into ancient societies, the 1920s, the 70s, etc. There is no real answer here to the problem or issue. Perhaps if we all tried to live by a strong faith or belief in a higher power it would help a little. However, we are humans after all & there always seems to be that desire for the "easy way out." May all the accused find a better way, and the communities they live in find a way to help them stay on a better path.

as far as i can see, there are alot more child molesters and perverts running the streets than drug offenders.my family member was arresred in that bust. he was not..... on wefare or any other goverment help.he is a wondreful young man that had a problem. he did not hurt anyonr in yhr process but himself. i am still very pround of him,he is getting the help he needs, but like i said you can molest a child or kill someone and get less time go figure.so you so called prim and proper people can shut up. check your own closet out before making these peoplew out to be like animals.i love my nephew and always will . i hate you haters..........

11:44 AM, It is hard for anyone to take you serious when you can't spell. If you break the law you should be punished. It doesn't matter if your relative was a child molester or a drug dealer. Both of those offenses are against the law and both need to be punished. I find it hard to feel bad for someone who knowingly and intentionally breaks the law.

Arrogance is what runs this society and to put a child molester and drug dealers in the same category is wrong. I believe that people shoud be punished, but then again I believe that not all people are bad that do bad things. I am sure that all you people think your families are perfect, but I am sure there is one family member that has an addiction of some sort whether it is drugs or alcohol.
