PA State Police Warn Of Electronic Pickpocketing

While this is interesting, it may not be as much a problem as it may seem - To begin with, this is only applicable to RFID cards - I'd bet a majority of credit cards don't yet have RFID chips in them - I looked in my wallet and not a single card I have has an RFID chip on it, so Ive got nothing to worry about there.. :)

Also for a little objectivity without the hype, be sure and review http://www.snopes.com/fraud/identity/pickpocket.asp

There are indeed devices you can purchase to store RFID enabled identity cards, that blocks them from broadcasting any of the data they hold - and if you happen to have multiple RFID cards- just keep them all in the same place, and any "pickpocket" attempts would very likely result in a jumbled mix of useless data.
