Ulysses Area Improvement Lists Christmas Decorating Winners

Ulysses Christmas Decorating Contest Winners

The Ulysses Area Improvement held two Christmas decorating contests for the holidays.

The first was strictly for the area business' and organizations. They were asked to decorate with Santa's Elves to represent their business/organization.

The second was for house decorating with a theme of Santa's Elves.

The winners for the business' and organizations were:
1st place -- American Legion Ulysses Post #930
2nd place -- Kountry Market
3rd place -- The Hair Company

The winners for the house decorating were:
1st place winning a prize of $75 -- Harold & Della Barber
2nd place winning a prize of $50 -- Jean Blanchard
3rd place winning a prize of $25 -- Dan & Sabrina Burnside

We would like to thank all that participated in our decorating contests this year. A special thank you goes out to Mr. & Mrs. Andy Watson and family and Ms. Susan Valentine for acting as official judges for our house decorating contest.

We are looking forward to a bigger turn out next Christmas with our decorating theme of Dashing Through the Snow.

WOW...our tiny town looked BEAUTIFUL all lite up. So thankful that we have such active participants who are willing to share their time, efforts (and electric charges) to us!
