Russell E. “Bam Bam” Miller, 31, of Stanton St. Painted Post, NY

Russell E. “Bam Bam” Miller, 31, of Stanton St. Painted Post, died suddenly at home on Tuesday, January 4, 2011.

Born in Eldred, Pa. on January 25, 1979, Russell was the son of Ronald and Linda Ward Miller.

He was a graduate of Addison Central School. He was a long time employee of Storeflex Fixture Co. in Corning where he worked as a lead welder.

Surviving are his parents, Ronald A. Miller of Eldred, Pa. and Linda Miller of Wasilla, Alaska, his brothers, Scott (Mary Ann) Ward of West Salem, Ohio and Ronald A. Miller Jr. of Kittaning, Pa., his sisters, Barbara Miller of Monroesville, Pa. and Dorothy Patterson of Bradford, Pa. along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Russell was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hiram and Betty Ward and Kathryn and Donald Miller.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 9 from 11 AM to 1 PM at the H.P. Smith & Son, Inc. Funeral Home, 1607 Main St. Woodhull, NY. Funeral services will follow there at 1:00 PM with Rev. Brian Diffenbacher officiating.

Burial will be in Northrup Hill Cemetery, Town of Rathbone, NY.
