Nice to know everyone in our wonderful state government is a geologist and drilling engineer.

Maybe they should start worrying about deficits and growing resentment from their constituents and not how far apart a drilling rig is from another.

Tax em til they bleed ! Then tax the lease holder til they bleed !!!

What's stopping a driller on your neighbor's property from horizontally drilling under your property??? I'm sure that would never never never ever happen cause all the oil and gas companies are so honest.

1:14... That`s exactly what they do !! 6 wells on a pad going in different directions. a couple miles away the same thing is set up and they collect the gas in between. I`m sure the mineral owners are gettin screwed in some instances.

Take an orange. Draw a circle on it. Stick a small straw in ithe circle and suck. Now, did you only suck the juice from the area that you drew the circle?

3:56, I don't think it's an orange we are sucking on, I think we got stuck with a Lemon here.

It is the law of capture.

Everyone got all excited and bitchy when forced integration was mentioned but if that would have been passed, folks would have been paid for the gas extracted even without a lease.

Instead, people bitched about it and it was never brought to the forefront as an option so the gas is extracted without compensation.

Can't have it both ways.
