Genesee Man To Teach At Alfred State

Alfred State University has announced that R. Jack Jones, of Genesee, PA, has been hired as an instructor in the Building Trades, where he teaches construction essentials to freshmen and seniors.

Prior to joining the ASC faculty, Jones was an apprentice carpenter, a tradesman at Air Tech Systems, and an adjunct professor at ASC. He also operates a general contracting business.

He served in the US Air Force from 1995-99. Jones holds a bachelor of science in business administration from Mansfield University.

The Northern Potter High School graduate is the son of Robert and Nancy Jones, Genesee, PA. He and his wife, the former Lindsay Reed, are the parents of three children, all at home.

Jones is one of many new employees announced yesterday on the schools website. Click here to see the complete article.
