Harrison Valley Man Arrested For 2006 Arson Fire

Arrest In 2006 Arson Fire At Seasonal Residence on Hurlburt Hill Road
This is all that was left after a structure fire destroyed a seasonal residence owned by Brian Farleigh, a veterinarian from Hazelton, PA, located at 1075 Hurlburt Hill Road in Harrison Township, Potter County, PA.

The fire, which was reported at 5:11 am on June 20, 2006, was determined early on to be incendiary in nature.

State Police Corporal Nicholas A. Loffredo said an active investigation has been ongoing since the fire occurred. During the investigation, information and evidence was discovered which led to the arrest of Peter Andrew Zehr, 26, of Harrison Valley, PA. Zehr is facing charges of:

F1 Burglary
F1 Conspiracy - Arson-Danger Of Death Or Bodily In
F2 Arson-Intent Destroy Unoccupied Bldg
F2 Crim Tres-Break Into Structure
M1 Theft By Unlaw Taking-Movable Prop
M1 Receiving Stolen Property
F3 Crim Misch/Dmg Prop Intent, Reckless, Or Negli

Zehr was arraigned and committed to jail on lieu of $50,000. percentage bail on Tuesday, March 1. He was released on bail the next day and faces a preliminary hearing tentatively scheduled for March 7 at 9:30 am in Judge Delores G. Bristol's courtroom.

The case remains open and further arrests are possible.
