Pickup Hit Tree Off Peet Brook Road Wednesday

No Injuries In Peet Brook Road Crash
A one vehicle crash on Peet Brook Road in Allegany Township on Wednesday at 9:10 pm resulted in no injuries to two Spring Grove, PA men who were wearing seat belts.

David J. Erlemeier, 40, of Spring Grove, PA, was driving a 2006 Ford F-150 north on Peet Brook Road about 6/10 of a mile north of Rt. 49, when he lost control of his pickup on a snow covered and slippery roadway. His vehicle left the travel portion of the roadway along the eastern edge and struck a tree with the front end of the vehicle.

Neither the driver nor his passenger, Robert C. Erlemeier, 48, of Spring Grove, was hurt. Troopers said he was traveling too fast for the road conditions and cited him for (not) Driving Vehicle At Safe Speed.

Coudersport Fire Department assisted State Police with traffic control. Kightlinger Motors towed the pickup truck from the scene.

Anyone with information relative to the crash is asked to contact Coudersport PSP at 814-274-8690. Trooper David A. Burd is the investigator.

How the hell can these tropers say he was driving too fast for conditions? They seem to issues tickets at every accident. Is this their way of helping someone who may be in shock? A real unprofessional way to serve.
