Thanks from Sophia

Thanks For Support For Sophia

On behalf of and the family of Sophia Cizek, we would like to thank everyone for their support while our precious baby was sick.

Your generosity made it possible for Mom and Dad to be with Sophia for extended periods while she was a resident at Geisinger and after her bone marrow transplant at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

Sophia wanted to tell you that she is doing well today, even though she is a little on the petite side. (less than the 5th percentile for 19 months). And she gets a little itchy sometimes from the Bone Marrow transplant. But other than that she’s a happy, cheerful baby who is learning new stuff every day.

She’s full of sass and isn’t afraid to speak her mind, even with her limited vocabulary, She’s a pretty good at getting her point across. Oh and her hair is growing back, it’s not exactly stylish at this point but it’s getting there.

Sophia is walking and talking (and signing) and loves to play with her best friend Guinness, She has been outside to check out the snow and she loves her new helmet that she got so she can go 4 wheeling with Daddy. Sophia doesn’t go anywhere without her frog binky and her Dora doll who have been two of her best buds forever.

Our Journey continues with regular monthly visits to Geisinger and CHOP for checkups and procedures, Sophia is happy that she is finally big enough to sit facing forward in the car since there is so much more to see.

Again, We would also like to thank everyone who has had us in your thoughts or who has said a prayer or a kind word. The outpouring of support for Sophia has been truly overwhelming.
