20mill wow lets see what could benefit from $20 mill? EDU. PA roads, ect..... The owners of the stadium make more than the taxpayers, let them pay for it.

Stadium renovations may be required, however, let the sport person pay for them along with the host community who earns the money.

The elderly who has not had a social security increase for 3 years are going to receive cut backs because of Gov Corbetts budget to decrease programs for the aging.

Also, planned cuts to Medicaid and Hospitals will greatly effect our rural area.

The elderly whom have not had a social security increase for 3 years (BUT welfare slugs got a 5% increase this year) are going to receive cut backs because of Gov Corbetts budget to decrease programs for the aging.

What is he thinking?
This is plain and simple insanity.
Pennsylvania's public-schools and universities have suffered huge budget cuts laying off staff, ending programs and Corbett plans on spending tax payer dollars to help renovate a baseball stadium.
In these cash strapped times it would be helpful to have a sane governor and legislators.

LOL This is bull sh_t what a waste of freaking money!

This is a state grant from state taxes......social security and welfare are both federally funded from federal taxes. I agree that there are a lot more important things that could be done with the money thatn to fix up a private building.

Education VS. Baseball hmmmm... great choice! What the hell goes through the politicians mind!

What the hell goes through the politicians mind!

You can see a building but you can't see a childs brain. Self gratification baby, self gratification.

Cut funding for state schools 50% Then spend 20 million on this... Why not just line us all up and kick us in the nads Tom ?

Don't forget though that Potter Co. overwhelmingly voted for One Term Tom and guess what? They will do the same thing again in 2014 because he's a Republican and the foolish always follow the flock!!!

Mind? What mind? Politicians don't have brains so how can they have minds? Money ought to come out of politician's pockets. No, wait a minute! The money in THEIR pockets is OURS. We pay their salaries. Right? Guess you couldn't call it robbery if we just go withdraw from their bank accounts then. Because, after all, it IS OUR money. I am tired of them spending OUR money without even asking first!

I don't care what Corbett does.

Better than having some communist librul mooselum Obama-lover in the governor's chair amirite?

Nooooooo! urwrong! What an idiot! If you don't care what Corbett does, then 9 chances out of 10, you don't care what any of them do.Better yet, you don't have a clue about any of this so just keep your yap shut. At least this president isn't having an affair with some sleeze bag like a couple of others have. And you can't spell either, so get a life!

amirite? was being sarcastic...and echoing a lot of the views from narrow-minded people around this area. Everybody ran to the polls and voted Republican for the simple reason of voting against Democrats...if people would have taken the time to realize what a sleazeball Corbett really is, we wouldn't be in this mess.

Can anyone say corruption? We need to get this guy out of office quickly. He clearly doesn't represent the people that elected him.

This is discusting. He is taking away from our schools, our healthcare and our senior citizens and then he has the gall to give money for a stadium renovation. There is something wrong when sports are more important than education and healthcare for people. We need to take our country back from these crocked politicians.
