Community Foundation Awards Certificates of Appreciation for In-Kind Services

Community Foundation Awards Certificates of Appreciation for In-Kind Services

The Community Foundation for the Twin Tiers (CFTT) wishes to recognize those individuals and businesses that have been providing in-kind services to the foundation in 2010. The Board of Directors will be presenting each of them with a Certificate of Appreciation suitable for framing.

Bill Ransom, Board Chair, stated, “It is hard to imagine the foundation reaching its present level of success without these generous contributions.”

Being recognized are CQ Services of Sayre for the design, hosting, and updating of the CFTT website: twintierscf.org. “Thanks to their generosity the foundation has had an excellent website since its inception and it has grown to meet our needs,” stated Marilyn Bok, CEO.

In addition, attorney Frances Crouse, of Athens is being acknowledged for generously providing the foundation with free legal services when needed and for offering her guidance on how to handle complex issues the Foundation sometimes has to deal with.

Citizens & Northern Bank of Towanda/Sayre was recognized as being a consistent supporter of the foundation from the beginning and stepping forward and offering the CFTT a free checking account which it still maintains.

The CFTT is also recognizing these organizations and individuals that have help with the daily functioning of the office: Cash Credit Appliance who assisted with moving file cabinets; Sarah Ransom who assisted with mailings; and the Bradford County Conservation District and Tioga State Bank of Waverly, NY who provided meeting room space for CFTT Advisory Boards.

Every year Gambal Printing & Design has contributed their graphic design services in producing the CFTT Annual Report. Also these organizations contributed free advertising for the carrying on the work of the Foundation: Beaver Valley Cable, Blue Ridge Cable Public Service Channel, The Bridge-Wiggle 100, Comcast, Haefele TV, KZ Radio 104 FM, Time Warner Cable-Channel 18, VIA Media, WHKS-FM Radio/L-COM, WATS Broadcasting Inc. and WFRM Radio

The Community Foundation for the Twin Tiers (CFTT) is a non-profit public charity established in 2002 that encourages community philanthropy to enhance the quality of life for those who reside in Bradford, Potter, Sullivan and Tioga Counties in Pennsylvania and Tioga County in New York State. The mission of the CFTT is to continuously improve the present and future quality of life in the counties served by the Foundation. It establishes endowment funds from contributions of many individual citizens, corporations, other foundations, other charitable organizations and government agencies for charitable purposes.
