Phyllis L. Coyne, 86, of 316 Congress St.,, Bradford, PA


Phyllis L. Coyne, 86, loving mother and wife of 316 Congress St., passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at Hamot Medical Center in Erie after a long and courageous battle.

Born March 8, 1925 in Warren, she was a daughter of the late Arthur S. and Reba (Hurd) King.
On April 20, 1949 in St. Bernard's Rectory, she married Joseph G. Camas, who passed away in November of 1969. On October 18,1981 in the Emanuel Lutheran Church in Olean, NY she married Thomas E. Coyne, who passed away on September 29, 1995.

She was a 1944 graduate of Bradford High School. She was a homemaker, and held several part- time jobs but her favorite was working for the U.S. Forest Service. She enjoyed shopping, dining out, and spending time with her beloved grandpuppy "LB"

She is survived by a son, Joseph (Linda) Camas of Warren; a step daughter, Margaret Ann (Tom) Bates of FL, a sister, Bette Carney of Bradford; several step grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by two brothers, William and Arthur King.

Family will be receiving friends from 10-11 AM, Saturday, June 25, 2011 in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc., South Avenue, where funeral services will be held at 11 AM with Rev. Robert Brest, Pastor of the First Free Methodist Church, officiating. Committal services and burial will follow in McKean Memorial Park.
