Taffy Needs A New Home... He Is So Cute

Taffy is looking for a new home

A few weeks ago my sister passed away. She had a wonderful cat named Taffy for 14 years, but now Taffy has to find someone new to adopt him. We would love to keep Taffy, unfortunately my family has severe allergies and asthma, and it just won't work. He is an indoor cat and has never been outside, his front paws have been declawed and he is neutered. He is very playful, friendly and very clean. He misses human companionship as he has had to stay alone while my sister was in the hospital much of this past winter. Please call 814-331-9414 if you can offer him a good home.

First of all, I'm sorry to hear of your loss. I too have lost a brother. I actually ended up adopting his 2 cats. I currently have 4 large dogs and 3 cats. I was wondering if you think Taffy would be comfortable around such a large furry family. If you think Taffy will be ok around everybody, I will talk it over with my husband this weekend and give you a call. However, if another good, loving home comes about, don't think twice about it. I only wish the best for Taffy. Thank you and I will be in touch, Tammy Gaines

Hi Jim,
Our family adopted Taffy after seeing this ad almost 5 years ago. Sadly, Taffy passed away last week of an abdominal blockage and a stroke. She was around 18 years old. We will miss her and we are sure glad we had that time with her, and could care for her for her first owner that had passed away. Not sure if you still have the contact info for the people who posted this original ad, but we wanted them to know that Taffy had passed away. She will be buried in our pet cemetery near our camp in Smethport. Thanks, Jeff Wolfe
