Alice L. Munday, 72, of 25 Leonard Ave formerly of Rosedale Ave., Bradford, PA

Alice L. Munday, 72, of 25 Leonard Ave formerly of Rosedale Ave., passed away on Thursday, July 21st, 2011 at her residence.

Born August 23, 1938, in Bridgeport CN, she was a daughter of the late Octave and Blanche (Marzucco) Lord.

On November 29, 1958 in St Bernard Church she married James M. Munday who died November 13, 2003.

Mrs. Munday was a 1956 graduate of Bradford High School. She had been employed by the Crosby Mini Marts for many years, retiring as area supervisor in 1999. After her retirement she worked part time at Ott & McHenry Pharmacy.

She was a member of St. Bernard Church.

Surviving are five children, a daughter, Lori Ann Lipps of Lewis Run, four sons Michael J. Munday, Richard J. Munday, and Donald J. Munday all of Bradford and Captain Leo T. Munday Retired US Marine Corp. of Havelock, NC., a sister, Barbara Smead, and a brother, Octave "Butch" Lord both of Bradford, 11 grandchildren; Shannon Wiegrief, Samantha McGriff, Jimmy Munday, Timothy Munday, Michael Lipps, Robert Munday, Steven Munday, Joseph Lipps, Joshua Munday, Thomas Munday and Lucas Munday.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a sister, Rosemary Brennan.

Family will be receiving friends on Monday, July 25, 2011, from 11:00 to 1:00pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. South Ave. at which time funeral and committal services will be held with Rev. Leo Gallina, pastor of St. Bernard Church officiating. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.
