Clinton K. “Booga” Batterson, 23, of Galeton, PA

Clinton K. “Booga” Batterson, 23, of Galeton, PA, passed away Friday, July 15, 2011.

Born January 30, 1988 at the Langley Air Force Base, VA, he was the son of Timothy and Teresa (Fuller) Batterson, who both survive.

He graduated from Galeton High School in 2006 and attended Mansfield University where he was a part of the Fishery Biology Program. Clinton worked as a Sales Engineer at Level 3 Communications and was a Snowboard Instructor at Ski Denton.

He was an avid sportsman and loved the outdoors. He especially enjoyed playing soccer, snowboarding, tropical fish, and spending time with his daughter, Tegan, singing and playing the guitar for her.

Surviving besides his parents, Tim and Teri Batterson, are his wife, Christin Michelle Piccone Batterson, Galeton; a daughter, Tegan Ellie Batterson; a son (due August 7, 2011), Jobe Marcus Batterson; two sisters, Michelle (Edid Martinez) Batterson and Angella (Dustin) Smith both of Galeton; paternal grandfather, Richard Batterson, Galeton; special friends, Randy Tindal, Marcus Brown, and Randy Reiter; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Clinton was predeceased by his paternal grandmother, Lois Batterson and his maternal grandparents, Tink Fuller, Edith and Donald Greene.

Friends may call at the Coudersport Gospel Tabernacle on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 from 12:00 to 1:00pm with Memorial Service following at 1:00pm. The Rev. David Minor, Sr. will officiate.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family for his children’s future.

this young man comes from a family of strong faith and so close and loving ,,,god dont fail them now ,,,continue to give strength and comfort durring this sad and horrible time ,,,,continue showering his daughter and son soon to be lots of love in this much needed time ,,,,,all the battersons im sorry ,,,,
