Pittsburgh Man Was Drunk

A Pittsburgh man was charged with Public Drunkenness early last Saturday morning at 12:26 am when he was observed by State Police walking along Route 6 near Toles Hollow Road in Coudersport Borough.

Harry Edwin Vickers, 41, of 43 W. Roseridge Street, Pittsburgh, PA, was visibly intoxicated and creating a danger to himself and passing motorists. He was issued a non-traffic citation for Public Drunkenness to be filed in District Court 55-3-01 in Coudersport.

drunk or not, people need to use common sense. DO NOT walk along the road wearing black or dark clothing unless you want hit. wear reflective tape/clothing or carry a flashlight.

There was a time in America when the cops would have just taken him home (or where ever he was staying at the time).

Seems he wanted to do the right thing by not driving and drinking.

Why couldn't they have just taken him home?

Maybe the troopers would have taken him home, maybe the cited him because he was cocky with them or uncooperative

liabilty? it was just a couple of years ago when Dawn Fink warned psp of possible lawsuits and was told,we have plenty of(TAXPAYER) money to figt lawsuits.
