Nancy L. Victory Farrar, 78, of 324 W. 4th St., Emporium died at Elk Regional Health Center, St. Marys on Wednesday (September 21, 2011) morning.

She was born June 24, 1933 in St. Mary a daughter of the late Harvey and Margaret Bickmire Tompkins.

Mrs. Farrar attended Cameron County Schools and lived her entire life in Emporium. She had worked at Dominicos and the Buttonwood. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Daughter: Donna Barton Hewitt, Emporium

3 Grandchildren: Jill, Mrs. Kirk Gibbs, Terry Coveney and Robin Chemsak

8 Great Grandchildren

Brother: Ronald Tompkins, Emporium

Brother: Jack Tompkins, Rochester, NY

Preceded in Death By

Parents: Harvey and Margaret Bickmire Tompkins

Son: Richard Victory

Daughter: Deborah Victory

There will be No Visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at the Barnett Funeral Home 207 E. Fourth Street, Emporium on Sunday, (September 25, 2011) at 6:00 PM with Rev. Rock Pifer, Pastor, Free Metholist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in the Newton Cemetery, Emporium.
