Shirley K. Bremiller, 68, of 10 Cemetery Road, Lancaster, NY, formerly of Limestone, NY

Shirley K. Bremiller, 68, of 10 Cemetery Road, Lancaster, NY, formerly of Limestone, passed away, Sunday, September 11th, 2011 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Cheektawaga, NY.

Born October 27, 1942, in Bradford, she was a daughter of the late Gordon O. and Elva (Higley) Johnson.

On July 8, 1961 in Bradford she married Jerry E. Burns who died in 1988, then on November 29, 1997 she married Wayne Bremiller who survives.

Mrs. Bremiller was a graduate of Limestone High School. She had worked in the kitchen at the Bradford Hospital and later in housekeeping at Bulkmatic.

She was a former member of the Pentecostal Tabernacle Church in Limestone. She enjoyed playing the piano, and crocheting. She especially loved her cat.

In addition to her husband she is survived by three sons, John (Lois) Burns of Bradford, Robert Burns of Erie and Walter (Sandy) Burns of Bradford, five daughters, Sharon (Jim) Armstrong of Bradford, Jodi (Samuel) Palmer of Raleigh, NC, Jamie (Doug) Mras of Virginia Beach, VA, Jill Bremiller of Columbus, OH and Jenna Bremiller of Raleigh, NC, a sister, Brenda L. (Bill) Carpenter of Olean, two brothers, Richard (Peg) Johnson of Eldred, and Howard Johnson of Bradford, 20 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a twin sister, Sharon Johnson and a brother Merle Johnson.

Family will be receiving friends on Saturday, September 17, 2011 from 10:00 to 11:00am in the Pentecostal Tabernacle Church, Limestone Run, Limestone, NY, where funeral and committal services will be held at 11:00am with Rev. Barbara Chadwick, pastor officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc.
