Anonymous said...

Not ignorant al all. Were you , perhaps, the driver of the dump truck?

Anonymous said...

That`s an expensive way to dump...

at least it wont b as big a pile to spread n i thought the head line was kinda funny especially since the tail gate isn't open and the box is more then half way up way more lol

Really a true operator knows that you cannot dump on a side hill the same way you would if you were on flat ground. bills excavating is the contractor,he is a flatty & thinks he can operate like he is from Potter County

Opps, someone commented on the wrong accident so I thought I would re-post their comment for them,"How was your ride Wild Bill, did you get Bucked Off" Now that's a funny one... Sounds like you need to get bucked back to the flat lands to me, lol,lol

Having previous experience in the field, this type of mistake is not all that uncommon. The reason you don't see it much is it usually happens way out in the woods when stoning roads for wells. Not that I am an expert but, it would appear from the picture that the combination of being on an uneven surface and either forgetting to unlock the tailgate, or having it malfunction, put the load weight ratio very high and caused the tip. Whether it was a failure to unlock or an operator error, if the operator had been paying attention he would have realized that his load wasn't dumping and could have prevented it. Thankfully he was off the road far enough that it did not turn over onto a passerby or bystander and crush them. Chances are there was little more than pride and cosmetic damages.
Heavy loads on a high center of gravity on a downhill slope with an inexperienced operator make for a hell of a mess and great fun poking.

Why do people have to be ignorant, thank god this man is safe, he does great work and is a great guy all around. Enough with the flat lander jokes, too bad people that comment about flat landers are that insecure with themselves.

Sounds like you think you ARE an expert 7:07. Could have been any number of reasons that it happened and no fault of the truck driver at all. Glad he is ok.

Didn't say I was an expert, I said I was experienced. Didn't say he was at fault, said it is the common cause and by the looks of the picture it was the probably cause. I also said it happens frequently and that it isn't that big of a deal.
Put your big girl panties on and grow up. Or were you the dumb a$$ that forgot to pull the tailgate release lever?

if you don't have a cdl i really dont think you should comment!! getting one is ALOT harder than driving a car or truck

wow - what comments - very glad to hear no one was hurt, regardless of where they are from , what does that have to do with anything - like everyone in potter county is a rocket scientist, thus the free time to post on here im guessing.
i also know bill, and even if it was his mistake, no one was hurt , wht is it to you , other than you have a new topic at the coffee shop..be sure and ask for prayers for him tomorrow in church and ask for forgiveness for yourself,,,,,,,,,

who care's where he came from, we all had to come from so where, and to be truthful he is alot better then some potter countians, infact its people like him that work hard everyday to support most the people that probably are on welfare that use this site and have nothing better to do.

Besides has anyone else ever made a mistake?? (I know i haven't **JUST KIDDING**) probably so, i dont care how much experiance you have or dont have we all eventually mess up.

this man wakes up every morning with his feet running, and his mind going a hundred miles per hour, if you own your own business you know what im talking about, everything is always on your mind. so let's cut him some slack people.

why do we hide behind the "Anonymous" you should state your name. I am proud of my opion and i realy dont care who it affends because i personally know him and he would do the same for me.
sincerely

Luke Faulstick
