April D. Dey, 44, of Oley, PA

April D. Dey, 44, of Oley, passed away Nov 8, 2011, in St. Joseph Medical Center, Bern Township.

Born April 12, 1967, in Reading, she was daughter of Mary Ann (Noll) Wengert of Port Allegany, PA, and the late John I. Wengert.

April worked for Gotwals at Brook Ledge Inc., Oley, for the last 11 years.

Her interests were scrap-booking, quilting and being outdoors, which included four-wheeling with family and friends, hiking and fishing.

She recently took the hunter education safety course with her son, Josh, to be able to go hunting and joined the Rockland Gun Club.

She is survived by her son, Joshua L. Dey, Oley; sister, Annette E. (Wengert), wife of Thomas Ackley of Coudersport; and brothers, Scott A., husband of Brenda Wengert of Kutztown, and Jeffrey H., husband of Dawn Wengert of Fleetwood.

Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Services will be Monday, Nov. 14, 2011, at 7 p.m. from the Mae A. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 117 W. Main St., Fleetwood.

A viewing will be Monday 5 to 7 p.m.

Contributions can be made to the Benefit Fund for Joshua L. Dey, c/o Fleetwood Bank, Main and Franklin streets, Fleetwood, PA 19522.

So sorry to hear this. I went to high school with April. She was a genuinely nice person. Condolences to the family.
