Harrison, Pa. —

The Daily Reporter is getting information on the plane crash that took place in Harrison Township, Pa. on Thursday afternoon.

The plane crashed into the second story of a two-story garage at 300 Johnson Road, owned by the Van Pelt family. Shirley Van Pelt was home at the time of the crash. The garage is just behind the home.

The four in the plane climbed out to safety. The garage and plane were on fire and the garage was falling in. One of the wings was behind the house.

The plane, owned by a firm in Orchard Park, was in Delaware flying to Buffalo. The flight plan shows the diversion just south of Wellsville when it crashed. More...................Photos & Video

You have to wonder why, if they were so close to Wellsville when they experienced trouble, they did not set a course for the Wellsville airport rather than trying to make it to Bradford.
