Did You Lose This Cat?

I have a couple cats that keep coming around...just wondering if you could post this for me in case someone is missing their cats.
Thanks, Kyla

This cat along with another orange and white cat with longer hair have been hissing and trying to fight with each other on my porch for a few days now.

I only got a picture of this cat, but if the other cat comes back I will try to get a picture of that...but I scared that cat away when I knocked on my door so the cats wouldn't start to fight.

I can't take either in because I already have cats of my own, but if anyone is missing a cat in the Coudersport area, mainly around Allegany Ave and Cartee St., e-mail me and I will try to help get your cat back if it is one of these two that keep coming here.

The one in the picture my husband and I took in because he was laying on the porch for an hour crying and he seemed to be limping and he was cold. We are keeping him in our spare bedroom for the night till tomorrow morning when we are going to try to take him to Ronnie at the Coudersport Animal Hospital.
We now know that this cat is a male, who doesn't appear to be fixed and seems to be very friendly and hungry cat.
Just wanted to update the post.
Thanks,
Kyla

There has been more and more of this! People just dropping of their cats thinking that this house or farm will make a good home, especially at farms. People think that the farmers want them because they will catch mice for them? In reality they pee on farm equipment seats and everything else in the barn. Make the farmer very happy! What do you think the farmer will do?

You are a good person Kyla for taking care of this kitty. Too bad there are not more people like you around. Hope they are just males fighting over a female and go back to their homes.

My mom feeds the stray orange male with the four white feet too and he's been a stray for several years in the Alleghany Avenue area. Don't know where he lives in the winter. He's gaining weight so obviously other families are feeding him too. They call him Joe and he doesn't usually fight with our male or female cats.

That might be whats happening because I have a female cat who is in heat right now and she is constantly sitting my the window doing those crazy loud meows. And these two just happened to show up on my porch and start a hiss fight. I haven't seen them actually fight but for the past few nights or so I could hear hissing and the mean meows. And the bigger orange cat showed up again last night after we took the other one in...who knows maybe they're friends.
Coudersport needs a cat animal shelter...if I had the money I would start one of my own right now.
